Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting daily trade activity for OTC instruments. Individual must be familiar with a variety of equity and fixed income derivative products – total return swaps, credit default swaps, interest rate swaps, options, futures, etc, including experience in operationally supporting post trade processing for trade confirmation, trade settlement, collateralization, and regulatory reporting.
· Execute trade confirmation process across multiple platforms for varying security types.
· Monitor daily trading activity to ensure initial margin is processed accurately and timely.
· Communicate daily with counterparties to ensure appropriate levels of collateralization including addressing margin calls
· Oversee private debt(bank loan) trade matching and settlement processing
· Assist in compiling accurate and timely reporting for client oversight teams
· Assist in research and resolution of cash and position reconciliation breaks
· Adherence to departmental policies and procedures
· Consistently assess and improve workflow processes to mitigate risk and create efficiencies
· Assist in departmental projects.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Minimum Required Qualifications
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of equity and fixed income derivatives trading and post trade handling.
Familiarity with post trade derivative platforms (ex: Markit Wire, DS Match, Icelink)
Familiarity with private debt (bank loan) security processing
Ability to work and make decisions independently.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Two years of experience within the financial sector with direct experience related to derivative trade processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required
