COMPANY OVERVIEW
Bel UK is the UK subsidiary of the French cheese manufacturer, Bel S.A., the second largest branded cheese manufacturer in Europe. Bel UK is a non-manufacturing operation based in modern plan office in Sevenoaks (Kent), 25 minutes commute from central London. The subsidiary is composed of 50 employees and the marketing team members are a young and dynamic mix of British and European people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager position (VIE) to support across the Leerdammer brand for a period of 12 months, as of 1st September 2019. The contract may be renewable for a 2nd year.
Reporting directly to the Group Brand Manager, you will support the implementation of the brand marketing strategy, monitor the brand’s performance and manage projects on the brand.
MISSIONS
As Assistant Brand Manager; you will:
- Manage the monthly brand performance analysis with market insights
- Manage product marketing expenditure ensuring all budgets are managed efficiently
- Support the Group Brand Manager in building the annual brand plan
- Brief and manage external agencies (advertising, media, research, PR..)
- Support the Group Brand Manager in delivering recommendations for promo guidelines
- Work closely with the National Account Managers to carry out the brand initiatives
- Coordinate with trade marketing managers if any shopper activities
- Manage any ad hoc projects on the brand
PROFILE
- Master’s degree in business administration with a major in marketing
- 1-2 years of marketing experience (internships included), a former experience in FMCG market would be highly appreciated
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Go getter attitude
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Effective team player demonstrating strong ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent presentation skills
- Creative mindset
- Confident in working to multiple deadlines across multiple projects
