Junior Process Engineer

Job description

Missions:

Assigned to projects involving different technologies (refining, petrochemicals, biofuels and renewables) within the Process Group, you will be involved into international projects and quickly supervising the design of Axens process units.

Your main activities will be:

• Participation in the development of process books in conceiving the flow scheme, simulating the unit, developing the P&IDs
• Participation in technical project meetings with the customers (project launches, PFD reviews, PID reviews, 3D Model reviews)
• Technical support to the team in charge of the equipment supply project
• Supervision and technical support to the drafting teams
• Proportioning equipment (pumps, compressors, drums, etc.);
• Participation in research and development work in collaboration with Axens New Development & Transformation Business Division as well as IFPEN.

After few years assigned to this mission, a wide range of possibilities for career development are proposed in technical support for sales or technical support in the field, for example, but also in project management.

Desired profile

Knowledge and Level Required:

• You are a young or a future graduate with a generalist or chemical engineering background
• An experience in the refining, petrochemicals, biofuels and renewables industry would be appreciated
• A good level of written and spoken English is required, other language(s) would be appreciated.
• Ideally you have an understanding of chemical engineering software (ProII, Hysys, etc.);
