Internship : Equipment Performance Improvement (F/M)

Job description

Context :
Axens Project Operations Business Division (POP) mission is to provide advanced technologies, basic engineering design, modular units design and technical services to its customers.
We are looking for an intern for the POP Process Department.
In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and Modular Units Projects development for our customers but also on new technologies development.
In order to improve one of our technologies involved in refining and petrochemical production, we are looking for an intern to work on mechanical design improvement and optimization of the proprietary equipment.

Tasks and activities :
You will be immersed within the Process & Mechanical team - as part of the continuous improvement process you will conduct complementary studies regarding existing proprietary equipment,
Refine and implement modifications based on the existing solutions, ensuring they align more closely with the expected performance.
Ensure all modifications align with project objectives and meet client requirements.
Conduct simulations to validate the effectiveness of proposed modifications.
Work with the drafting department to create detailed mechanical drawings of modified designs.
Prepare comprehensive documentation to facilitate consultations with manufacturers.

Desired profile

Profile :

· Currently in your 2nd or 3rd year of engineer school specialized in Mechanical Engineering and you are looking for a 6 months internship.

· You are interested in mechanical design and ideally know how to use SolidWorks and AutoCad software.

· A good level of English is mandatory.
