AXA is the largest insurance brand in the world and the largest insurer by revenue.

We have 95 million clients across the globe and we employ over 214,000 employees globally, with 12,000 of those based in the UK and Ireland.

We generated a total Group revenue of over 91 billion Euros in 2010.

We are based at Middlebrook, adjacent to the Macron Stadium with 450 employees. Situated approximately 18 miles to the north west of Manchester. We can be reached directly by rail - via Horwich Parkway - or road - via the M61 and regional motorway network.

Are you looking for a career?

We handle claims for personal injury or property damage made against our commercial customers. This could range from £500 for a damaged carpet to a quarter of million pounds for the loss of a limb in an industrial accident.

Every claim is different and every claim needs to be handled with the same degree of professionalism and care.

You will be comfortable following procedures, whilst also being aware of the bigger picture and able to see the wood from the trees. You may come across potential fraud for example.

You will deal with people with empathy and understanding - whilst also being objective and fair. This will involve telling people things they do not want to hear at times.

You will be skilled at interpreting information you will collect from various sources, both written and over the phone; and you in turn will be able to communicate effectively with people.

You will be energised by working to stretching targets and receiving constant developmental feedback.

You will enjoy working in a team environment whilst also taking personal responsibility for your own work.
