Our mission is to shape, build and maintain the shared solutions of AXA Group. The aim of these services is to sustain business development, reduce time to market, & generate savings.

As Junior Cloud Engineer (m/f/x) in the Cloud Broker Department your duties will focus on the following:

• You process workflow-task-based requests in native public cloud-, PaaS- and SaaS-environments
• You provide 1st- and 2nd-level support to local DevOps-teams
• You support and enable DevOps teams to use AXA’s cloud products in a self service mode
• You develop and maintain automation scripts and code for use with e.g. AWS Lambda
• You create and implement technical concepts on the basis of “everything as code”
• You collaborate with AXA’s global cloud products teams and support their local use
• You exchange with teams at various international locations which are creating and developing global native public cloud-based products following AXA’s cloud strategy
• You ensure long-term cooperation on a basis of partnership with internal AXA clients

Qualifications :

Your profile:

• Ideally you should have university level education in IT or hold a comparable qualification
• You should have an understanding for the “everything as code”-approach
• You need to know cloud computing principles and you have made first experience with cloud services provided by AWS
• You understand and can distinguish between PaaS-, IaaS- and SaaS-solutions, particularly on the basis of the AWS product portfolio
• You ideally have a basic knowledge of AWS and their RDS, S3, KMS, Elastic Search and EC2 environment
• You should also have good knowledge of at least one programming language and the use of AWS SDKs (Python, Go or node.js)
• You ideally have a certification that proves your cloud-knowledge, e.g. the AWS cloud practitioner certification
• You should have a fluent command of German and English and enjoy working in (international) teams and agile procedures
