Purpose:

German Sales Operations exists to manage and measure functions essential to Sales Productivity and to support Direct Sales and Indirect Channel Sales in daily routines (like tasks in CRM system). This role requires a combination of operational experience and business acumen to manage all aspects of a Sales organization’s operations that underwrite the performance achievement and predictability that the business requires to hit its targets. This requires the influencing, people and analysis skills combined with sound commercial judgement and personal motivation to thrive in this demanding and fast-changing environment. The priority for the role Sales Operations Expert is consistent application of UCC (HQ and local) and GBU GER process and procedure.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Sales Processes:

·  Push sales processes forward and increase revenue
·  Innovative thinking and transformation of the existing processes

 

Sales Reporting:

·  Awareness of the selling opportunities and the upcoming deal closings with an eye on the details
·  Tracking of OE and ER with Finance and make necessary calculations ad hoc
·  Conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable forecast, messages and reports
·  Create and distribute different types of regional reporting packs on a weekly basis including project list, Pipeline and Forecast for Direct and Indirect Channel Sales

 

Support GER CSO / CEO:

·  Co-edit management reports (e.g. monthly Management reviews with UCC Board), based on input from 1st and 2nd line Managers
·  Create ad-hoc management reports
·  Take notes in weekly Market Reviews

 

Support GER SOO:

·  Account Business Planning Process (check UCC content on ABP+, support Client Executives and Sales Heads in ABP sessions
·  Maintenance of GER UCC Master Budget / Teaming files
·  Administer campaign/push actions in Global ONE and Atos Salescloud, create reports/dashboards
·  Check Rainbow Watchlist for poor maintenance in Opportunities (G1/Atos SC) and in Rainbow process, report to CSO and SOO,
·  Check UCC GSO weekly reports (e.g. for wrong profit centers, wrong Offerings, overdue Opps)
·  Bi-weekly check for quality gaps in salesforce Opportunities with own reports (e.g. overdue, missing OE plans, missing Offerings, missing Partner Deal requests)
·  Trigger and advise Account Executives on the corrections in salesforce Opportunities
·  Train Sales teams on Sales tools and processes (CRM/Salesforce, ABP+, Planets, Miller-Heimann); depends on achieved level of experience and know how

 

Educational background:

 

·  BSc/BA in Business Administration, Management or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
·  2 years’ experience working with sales teams driving pipeline management and reporting on a global basis, preferably with a Finance background
·  Understand the dynamics of sales environment and the culture of sales people
·  Business Development
·  A strong understanding of sales and internal business principles, market trends, processes and administration
·  Willing to challenge constructively - both internal organizations and existing partners
·  Focus on achievement of strategic objectives defined by company management
·  PC literacy demonstrated, MS Office Pack
·  Database maintenance MS Access, data analysis in MS Access and MS Excel (hands on experience needed); scripting/macro coding not necessary, but basics welcomed
·  Sound knowledge of sales force automation / CRM tools: data structure (Accounts, Opportunities), data administration, data analysis, reports/dashboards (basic know how necessary, some training on the job possible)
·  Data analysis and modelling skills
·  Proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives
·  Atos Account Business Planning Process (ABP+ Portal) (training on the job possible)
·  GER UCC/GBU Sales structure, tools and processes (training on the job)

Other Skills:

 

·  Proficient German (business fluent), proficient English
·  Excellent people skills. Strong team player and committed business partner. Able to build trusted relationships across the organization
·  Ability to work remotely in a team via online call meetings as well as in written form
·  Self-training via existing resources as well as ability to train other parties in the business
·  Flexible presentation mode that adjusts to the audience and situation
·  Ability to focus on both the pixel and the picture depending on audience
·  Ability to live with and influence an organization undergoing major and rapid changes
