Job description

Assay Corporate Finance is a financial services company with offices in London and Birmingham. We work with numerous clients, helping them to increase the value of their businesses and working with them to sell/buy businesses or raise money in order to fund growth and new ventures.

We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to assist with a refresh of company materials. This will include working on materials intended for distribution to both internal and external parties, marketing & branded materials and branded templates for use by internal teams.

We are looking for someone who is thorough in their work, shows initiative and can work independently. We are keen to speak to applicants with experience or a strong interest in presentation design. The internship will run for 6 weeks and we will need you to commit for this whole period.

Key tasks:

- Creating and updating marketing materials
- Creating easy to use sales and marketing templates for internal teams
- Updating and refreshing company stationery
- Design and production of infographics and branding
- Translation of briefs into simple and clean designs
- Managing of project deadlines

We welcome applications from both current students. You will be able to work from either the London or the Birmingham office.

Desired profile

Requirements:

- A BA/MA student studying for a creative-technical degree, such as Graphic Design, Product Design or Industrial Design
- Experience in designing for both print and digital formats
- Proficient in Adobe CCS, especially Photoshop and Illustrator
- Excellent skills in PowerPoint and proficient in Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate both clearly and concisely, both in writing and verbally
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team
