Your skills

Are you willing to work for a dynamic company in a fast-paced and very demanding environment? If so and if you want to build a strong experience in R&D, providing prompt and reliable technical support to polymer business, we would be glad to welcome you within the company!

You hold a PhD in Polymers, Material Sciences or a related field. You have a previous in-depth experience in polymer or material science with extensive experience in material characterization technologies.

You are well-known for your team spirit, that will allow you to work effectively with the teams on the production site. Your communication, analytical and problem solving skills, as well as your intellectual discipline, leadership and commitment to result will be essentials for being successful.

As you are in an international company, you need to be fluent in Mandarin and English. French would be a plus.

Your responsibilities

As R&D Engineer, you will report directly to the Analysis department manager. You will answer technical problems faced by various Arkema Business Units.

Your future responsibilities will be the following:

- Provide analytical support for functional additives, coating, performance material other products under the supervision of Analysis department manager
- Ensure consistency and reliability of all analytical work, comply with best Quality practices
- Participate in technical service and product development activities in collaboration with R&D engineers from different Business Units
- Explore new analytical technology, develop new method;
- Supervise technicians in day-to-day lab work
- Write technical report and summarize results in presentation
- Keep good communication channels with peers in other ARKEMA R&D centers
- Propose plan for the development of the team and implement it
- Conduct work in compliance with ARKEMA safety rules
