What you'll do
As the Governance, Reporting and Activation Manager at Sainsbury's within the CR&S team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the effective governance of Sainsbury's Sustainability Plan (Plan for Better), driving decision-making at all levels. You will oversee the overall group sustainability reporting , ensuring clear communication of our progress and compliance with reporting obligations. Additionally, you will lead the multi-stakeholder engagement plan to enhance the brand's reputation and trust. This includes responsibility for managing the sustainability section of the Corporate site, curating content to provide valuable information to stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external experts, influencing stakeholders, and maintaining a robust reporting verification process to uphold transparency and accountability in our sustainability communications.
Who you are
As a Governance, Reporting, and Activation Manager at Sainsbury's, you have extensive experience in sustainability reporting and governance. You have excellent communication skills and are able to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels. Coupled with your expertise in managing projects and delivering results at a rapid pace you are able to drive impactful decisions and initiatives that uphold the company's commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. With your strong organisational skills, budget management capabilities, and focus on continuous improvement, you play a pivotal role in enhancing the corporate responsibility and sustainability efforts at Sainsbury’s.
