Job description
As a Reward Advisor at Sainsbury's, you will play a crucial role in developing and administering the company's employee reward initiatives as well as supporting the implementation and communication of our annual reward cycle, such as pay review and bonus.
You will support the Reward Team in implementing and maintaining a fair and competitive rewards framework that aligns with our company's EVP (Community comes first, Celebrating everyone’s ability, Proud allies, Wellbeing, above all).
Your main focus will be the delivery of effective reward strategies, developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies, preparing data analysis and cost modelling and conducting market research to ensure market competitiveness. You will also provide guidance and support to key HR stakeholders and line managers on compensation matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Overall, you will play an important role in shaping and enhancing our reward programmes to support our colleagues and contribute to their overall wellbeing and job satisfaction, and to attract, motivate, and retain top talent within the organisation.
Who you are
- Highly analytical and numerate with advanced Excel capabilities in order to manipulate and interpret large data sets (e.g. pivot tables, graphs, conditional formatting) and provide meaningful and clear analysis as well as provide insights in a simple way for our stakeholders.
- Show excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, communicate and engage with stakeholders.
- Able to build great working relationships with colleagues in the Reward team and across the business.
- Demonstrate high level of initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
