Please note, this role is based out of our Holborn Store Support Centre & Home.
This role works within the Financial Planning and Analysis team where you will support our strategic ambitions to deliver strong and sustained cashflow as a business. You will support a multi year project which aims to identify, action and deliver to this strategic commitment. You'll not only work closely with the project team and business stakeholders on delivery but will work with the existing financial planning and analysis team to track the materialisation of cash benefit.

- Success in this role involves supporting the creation of analytics for the business to understand and leverage opportunity within Working Capital
- Creation and reporting of periodic project review packs as well as providing insight, analysis and commentary
- Support on building and updating financial modelling in excel to support our trade payables forecasting for latest view, corporate plan and budgeting
- Build an external perspective and use outputs to engage and influence the business
- Complete ad hoc / bespoke analysis for cashflow and provide recommendations where applicable
- Stepping up to cover the Finance Manager where needed
- Support upskilling and knowledge share with wider finance team to raise profile and focus on Cash
More about you
- Professionally Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or studying towards qualification
- Strong Excel and numerical skills, with an aptitude for turning data into analysis and insight and being able to clearly articulate this through your communication
- Experience in using Powerbi, Alteryx and/or MicroStrategy would be preferred but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen
- To have a good track record of strong financial control, but also the ability to maintain such an environment
- Team player, able to work effectively within frameworks without direct supervision
- Effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders, including audiences of varying financial and commercial acumen
- Self-motivated team player, able to work autonomously, prioritise with good problem-solving abilities
- Must have a strong eye for detail and accuracy
