Job description
Why join us
As our Employee Relations (ER) Executive, you will provide expert advice on critical employee relations cases. Working closely with senior leaders and HR teams across multiple regions, you ensure risks are assessed, legal responsibilities are met, and our valued behaviours are upheld. This is a role where you can make a real difference in shaping our ER strategy and delivering positive outcomes for our colleagues.
What you'll do
You will play a vital role in providing expert Employee Relations advice and solutions for complex and high-risk cases across various geographic regions. Working closely with senior leaders and HR teams, you will build trusted relationships to ensure that the right ER advice is delivered, and risks are assessed appropriately. You will prioritise ER cases and make informed decisions on how to manage each situation, ensuring a balanced approach that aligns with our valued behaviours and commercial responsibilities.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development of line manager expertise through coaching and support, particularly in managing disciplinaries, fair treatments, capability, and performance-related issues. Your role will also involve overseeing occupational health cases, managing the consultation process, and providing input to pro-active learning interventions. With a focus on maintaining confidentiality and staying up to date with ER knowledge and best practices, you will work collaboratively with teams across the business to deliver credible ER advice and achieve desired outcomes for the business.
Who you are
You have a deep knowledge of all aspects of employee relations coupled with a strong understanding of employment law and occupational health which means you play a key role in providing expert advice and solutions for complex and high-risk cases. Your ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and teams in the business allows you to effectively support and guide them through case resolution, ensuring our commercial responsibilities are maintained and aligned with our valued behaviours. Your excellent judgement, communication skills, and ability to use data to understand issues enable you to deliver efficient, professional, and credible advice, while maintaining case confidentiality and adhering to policy and procedures. You thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment, successfully prioritising workload and taking ownership of driving the desired outcomes for employee relations within our company.
