What you'll do 

You will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end thinking and strategic programme management to deliver transformative Winning in Propositions initiatives that enhance the customer experience and ensure sustainable business growth. You will demonstrate excellent thought leadership by challenging the status quo, fostering innovation, and leveraging insights to drive practical recommendations that inspire change across the organisation. With a proactive and forward-thinking approach, you will lead complex programmes with agility, setting up effective ways of working and building high-performing teams to accelerate change at pace. Your collaborative and end-to-end mindset will underpin your role as a positive role model, facilitating an environment for rapid delivery, learning, and continuous improvement within the business. 

Who you are 

As a Commercial Programme Manager at Sainsbury's, you are a strategic and innovative leader with a growth mindset and a proven track record in shaping and implementing major change projects / programmes. With a strength in end-to-end strategic thinking and a keen ability to use data, insight, and external innovation to drive complex decisions, you excel in driving change at pace and delivering high-impact results. Your commercial acumen, curiosity, and drive allow you to identify and pursue opportunities while fostering collaborative relationships and driving innovation across the organisation. Your strong communication skills, analytical perspective, and ability to influence at all levels enable you to connect the dots, innovate, and implement with purpose, ensuring successful programme delivery and driving sustainable growth for the business.
