Amazon Music is seeking a skilled Sr. Marketing Ops Manager that can be that bridge between the imaginations of our marketers, and leveraging our marketing automation and various channels across email, mobile push, in-app messaging, voice, and web to bring these experiences to life. We are looking for a business leader with technical marketing automation background, who has the ownership/leadership to transform our infrastructure/processes, so our marketing campaigns can be executed at their best.

The successful candidate understands how to get different technologies to work well together. You should be technically savvy enough to dive into data and analytics, audience targeting, and influencing our tech partners in building and improving our tools. We want someone who can create efficiencies through process improvements, technical or otherwise. If you’re the type of person that can hear a problem that someone is trying to solve, or describing the campaign they want to execute, and your mind immediately starts thinking about how you can solve that problem and recommend ways to maximize the campaign intent, then you just might be who we’re looking for. You should also feel comfortable driving alignment between various stakeholder team roadmaps

Duties & Responsibilities
· Define key marketing support mechanisms and programs to meet the rapid growth of the business
· Develop scalable change management strategies and plans to support the implementation of process/tools changes
· Drive improvements to the tools, methods, and processes
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
· Investigate ways to improve existing processes and fix pain points through automation, streamlining, and shared services
· Gathering, specifying, and documenting user requirements for the systems and tools required to support marketing goals
· Work with tech partners to build business and functional requirements, and partnering with other teams as necessary to refine plans, obtain buy-in, and deliver on the team’s roadmap and goals.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Business and technical experience building and scaling marketing automation programs with emphasis on consumer (B2C) facing campaigns.
· Analytical and quantitative skills; bias towards data-based decision making
· Excellent customer experience intuition. You obsess about customers and have the demonstrated ability to optimize a campaign experience to truly deliver a positive experience balancing business KPIs and customers’ satisfaction
· Proven ability to understand and solve complex business problems, leveraging your strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep, to create effective strategies.
· Advanced ability to write SQL scripts to pull and analyze data sets
· Excellent communication skills.
· Basic technical fluency. You understand how your products get built and can use that knowledge to work with your engineering partners to make smart decisions.
· Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across functions and influence senior leaders. You quickly earn the trust of people you work with. People enjoy and have fun working with you.
· Passionate about music. We obsess over and build products that we want to use ourselves.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
· Experience owning creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to c-suite stakeholders
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· 3+ years program or product management
· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvement
· 3+ years experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
