DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this role is to assist the Softlines Private Brands Brand Management (aka Buying) team in identifying, developing, buying and launching Private Brand products that our global customers will love. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a number of different brands and product categories, working with our team of Brand Managers. This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice looking to get an holistic view of the process of building fashion brands. Specifically: identifying selection opportunities, working with designers to create and develop products, working with suppliers to source fashion products, working with product tech teams on product fit, managing critical paths to launch products, and analysing sales data and customer review feedback. The role will involve exposure to many internal product development tools.
The role is based in London.
Responsibilities include:
· Critical path management
· Working with designers and suppliers to manage the development steps from concept to launch, including sample tracking and fit.
· Working with excel based product development and sign off tools to capture and input data, track the development process and progress products to sign off and purchase.
· Liaising with vendors, escalating issues and identifying risks to on time launches.
· Working with PR, marketing and imaging teams to support marketing campaigns, on site imagery and press events.
· Analysing data (internal and external) to identify selection opportunities.
· Walk the store, search data and customer review analysis to gather customer feedback to inform future product development.
