DESCRIPTION

The mission of Amazon Global Security Operations is to mitigate security and operational risks to our associates, data, and physical assets. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) provides global, regional, localized crisis management coordination and facilitation, global, and regional security risk monitoring and expertise, assistance with alarm monitoring services for Amazon's locations, coordination and facilitation, crisis management response to significant Workplace Incident Management events (workplace violence; WIM), troubleshoots issues with the alarm access control system, and provides credentials to critical data locations, among other daily services and projects.
Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented individual to provide crisis management coordination and facilitation, security risk monitoring, analysis, alarm monitoring, and act as the primary nexus for environmental, health and safety (EHS) standard work deliverables at Amazon's GSOC in Goodyear, AZ.

Security Risk Analyst responsibilities include: crisis management coordination and facilitation, security risk monitoring, analysis, alarm monitoring, managing email and phone communications, security risk monitoring and reporting, supporting other functions, and/or projects tasked by the Crisis Operations Manager, or Assistant Crisis Operations Manager.

Additional GSOC EHS Liaison specific responsibilities include: acting liaison between GSOC and WW EHS for communication and coordination, researching inbound EHS escalations, identifying EHS stakeholders for appropriate event escalations, administrating EHS contact updates within GSOC's databases, reconciling data from EHS incidents, providing procedural and event quality assurance, delivering EHS guidance and training to GSOC associates under guidance of corporate EHS, generating and/or managing trouble tickets, maintaining and improving procedural content, customizing site information pages, and coordinating crisis management exercises. The successful candidate has legendary customer service, good judgment, and aptness to new technology.

Shift work is required and can include nights, weekends and Public Holidays.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· High-level customer service skills as demonstrated by way of previous work history
· Ability to work in fast pace environment with the ability to systematically problem solve and workload manage during times of stress or escalated activity
· An interest in environmental health & safety, security, or crisis management
· Experience monitoring alarms in a command center environment
· Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (the entire work day)
· 1+ years of experience with MS Office Suite and programs to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InfoPath, SharePoint, etc.
· Multitasking skills including the ability to answer multiple phone lines, prioritize e-mail, instant message, and ticket related communication, and communicate clearly within a command center environment
· Clear and direct communication
· Able to use multiple software applications simultaneously (software multi-tasking)
· Typing skills at 35 words per minute with high accuracy
