This position can be remote, but candidates must be based near an AWS office location (Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Cupertino, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, East Palo Alto, Herndon, New York City, Pittsburgh, Portland, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, or Tempe)

AWS Training and Certification is passionate about revolutionizing the way people advance their cloud skills and careers. We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Marketing Manager to develop and deliver marketing programs that drive awareness and adoption of our offerings through our partners.

In this role, you will define and manage marketing programs with our Digital Training Partners and APN Training Partners working jointly on strategies to drive customer acquisition and adoption of AWS Training digital courses through their customer bases. You will work closely with partners to develop and execute joint-marketing plans, lead the launch of new courses, and work to drive ongoing adoption. You will partner closely with the Product Management to define positioning and messaging, create compelling content to help customers understand the use cases and value propositions, and build the right programs to increase adoption of Training and Certification through their channels. You will also be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the training business, MOOC (massively open online courses), and APN Training Partner ecosystem, and defining and delivering marketing content to increase adoption and support program goals.

This role requires the ability to analyze messaging and campaign effectiveness and business results, modify programs based on conclusions, and clearly articulate results to stakeholders. The ideal candidate must have superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic. You are passionate about technology and training, and helping articulate complex technical concepts in simple terms that make sense to customers. You also have a track record of success in developing co-marketing strategies, running email marketing campaigns, and nurture programs, and a strong background in audience targeting and segmentation. The right candidate is extremely data-driven and comfortable with planning and executing on various stages of marketing programs; demonstrated experience working effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure entrepreneurial environment with a strong desire to roll up your sleeves; and proven experience managing priorities and working effectively across a number of internal stakeholders.

· Develop a deep understanding of the Training and Certification business, our audiences, and our training partner ecosystem
· Own the development of all value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for AWS Training courses with Digital Training Partners.
· Own the development of all value propositions, core content, marketing, and go-to-market strategies for AWS Training courses with APN Training Partners.
· Work with subject matter experts to distill key benefits into marketing messages.
· Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (e.g., videos, customer success stories, whitepapers, presentations, etc.)
· Define and execute marketing programs designed to raise awareness and brand recognition for AWS Training with Digital Training Partners.
· Develop and deliver scalable marketing programs and best practices for Digital Training Partners
· Act as primarily marketing contact for Digital Training Partners, including regular participation in team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions
· Trial and scale creative mechanisms for attracting a wide range of audiences (e.g., students, early career individuals, and mid-high tenure technologists).
· Own a core set of marketing programs with responsibility for building the program strategy and resources to scale
· Build and execute joint-marketing plans to help acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers, and support growth of AWS Training.
· Develop strategic and measureable marketing and campaign plans, including goals, messaging, call to action, and assets to support our distribution channels.
· Forecast, track, and report marketing program and campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Plus, continually monitor, analyze and tune marketing activities to maximize conversion
· Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for Training and Certification marketing programs and campaigns.
· Work with the Training and Certification Field Marketing email and campaigns teams to stay up-to-day on all new tools, understand best practices, and leverage the learnings and economies of scale.
· Work effectively across AWS with groups such as Training and Certification, Product Marketing, Business Development, Partner, and Evangelists to achieve business goals.
· Manage multiple priorities as an independent, self-starter with excellent time management within a rapidly evolving business.

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years' professional experience in marketing digital or high-technology companies/products through and with a partner ecosystem or channel
· 3+ years' demonstrated track record creating compelling messaging, positioning, and marketing content and launch and adoption marketing plans with a strong digital marketing focus.
· 3+ years' experience working with industry tools and analytics packages including email, social, web analytics, CRM, business intelligence, and marketing automation platforms.
· 5+ years' demonstrating a bias for action for developing awesome and effective marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, etc.)
· Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products.
· Experience working with industry CRM/Marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, etc) and online analytics packages (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau).
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, technology, communications, or relevant field of study.
· Travel required for team meetings, events, and shows as required; estimated at 25%.
