Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, delivery partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced logistics systems, allowing delivery partners to sign in, grab an offer for a delivery time, check out a map of the delivery location, and more.

We are seeking a Principal, WW Business Development Manager for Amazon Flex. In this role you will define the strategic vision for business development, including writing business plans that evaluate the economic and strategy cost-benefit of partnerships. You will support Amazon Flex's strategic objectives and interests on a global basis, partnering closely with individual country teams to implement programs and drive success. You will own top-level business goals for business development efforts, and ensure that the team meets its objectives. As a senior leader on the Amazon Flex team, you will work closely with business operations, management, the leadership team, and other stakeholders like Legal and PR to ensure alignment to overall objectives. This role will require earning trust, managing multiple projects, and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment. The ideal candidate for this role is a motivated self-starter who thrives on working in the complex and challenging environment of a rapidly evolving business.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS required
· 10+ years of experience in business development/strategic partnerships, and complex management with proven ability to design workable solutions and drive projects to successful implementation.
· End-to-end negotiation experience, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships.
· Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
