The Partner Business Development – Oracle Technology role is responsible for helping AWS Partners grow their business on AWS. AWS Partners who specialize in Oracle technology like Oracle RAC and Oracle E-Business Suite are at the forefront of helping AWS customers migrate their critical workloads to AWS; they help customers optimize their Oracle investments on AWS as well as plan for the future using cloud-native tools like Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift.

This role is part of a team (50%/50% women/men) with members in Seattle, Bay Area, Northeast US, and growing. In this role, you will reach out to and build relationships with a diverse portfolio of AWS partners who specialize in Oracle and AWS database technology; you will ask questions and learn about their customers, business models, and cloud migration practices to help define and deliver a roadmap of business and technical enablement resources to accelerate their business on AWS and help their customers get the most out of their AWS investment; your collaborative skills and EQ will be critical in helping us shape our program, offerings, and even products to meet their needs and the needs of our customers. RESPONSIBLITIES
· Develop strategic relationships and collaborate with partners who specialize in Oracle workloads on AWS
· Develop creative financial, technical and go-to-market incentive plans to accelerate Oracle on AWS adoption
· Collaborate with AWS business, technical and product teams to shape and drive a roadmap of technical and business enablement resources for partners
· Report regularly to team and AWS management

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years experience in a technology-centric company, holding a role related to business development, partner development, partner sales, sales, product marketing, or marketing programs
· Experience developing go-to-market (GTM) strategies and initiatives
· Familiarity with Oracle products services as well as data services in general, including relational databases, analytics, BI, data security, or data management
· Strong written and verbal English skills
· Willing to travel up to 15% to support partners and internal teams – exact travel dates are typically negotiable and flexible
