The Device, Digital & Alexa Support (aka. D2AS) organization provides the best customer support and experience for customers using our devices, digital & Alexa applications. The D2AS Knowledge Management team focuses on providing personalized and relevant information to our customers by making help Pages discoverable and easy to navigate.
D2AS team is currently hiring Ontologist. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, testing, implementation, and management of Digital and Device specific terminologies (entities, attributes and their relationship). You will work closely with Content authors and Tech teams in driving excellence and innovation. For this role, we are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented individual who has experience building innovative content management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the various content specific terminologies for device/digital (D2) contents.
- Design Ontology Model to represent various entities, attributes and their relationships.
- Ensure that terminologies and ontologies provide adequate domain coverage and are compatible with relevant Information standards.
- Work with business and domain experts to develop and evolve D2 contents
- Develop high-quality technical documentation about terminologies and ontologies, including detailed descriptions of the terminology content and its associated models and processes.
- Work collaboratively with other technical teams on knowledge-engineering focused projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Information Science; equivalent professional experience may be substituted
- 2-5 years of experience in taxonomy or ontology development
- Understanding of semantic standards (RDFS/SHACL/OWL/SKOS/SPARQL)
- Experience using and or developing semantic models using RDFS/SHACL/OWL/SKOS/SPARQL
