What is the role?
Amazon Pay is seeking a marketing rock-star with consumer marketing experience to join our Marketing Team. This role will report to the Global Head of Consumer Marketing in the US and will be responsible for developing and managing consumer marketing programs for Amazon Pay in the US. This role will help make Amazon Pay the preferred payment option among Amazon customers.

We are seeking an experienced consumer marketer to execute on the marketing strategy and to develop, and optimize marketing programs and campaigns in the US that drive customer engagement and loyalty. The US Consumer Marketing Manager will work closely with other marketing team members to optimize and execute the marketing strategy and launch new programs to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention for Amazon Pay. The US Consumer Marketing Manager will develop plans, execute, optimize and evaluate marketing performance across multiple channels and customer segments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer digital marketing, campaign planning, testing, optimization and measurement of experiments. Primary Responsibilities
You will be responsible for building and managing marketing programs that delight our customers and drive the awareness and use of Amazon Pay on our existing merchant sites.

Scope includes:
· Develop programs and internal partnerships that drive awareness and accelerate usage of Amazon Pay.
· Utilize digital channels such as email, display, and social (both Amazon owned and third party) to drive awareness and use of Amazon Pay among consumers.
· Manage consumer lifecycle programs including email using Amazon internal tools (Bullseye, Sonar).
· Partner with EU and JP counterparts to share learnings and scale where possible.
· Collaborate with Global Head of Consumer Marketing to align on global strategy and ensure consistent messaging and cohesive campaigns are used across all channels and markets.
· Coordinate creative asset production in partnership with the Marketing Communications Team or, as needed, with external agencies.
· Analyze campaign performance and optimize based on acquisition and retention goals. Presentation of traffic and marketing data in weekly business reviews. Use performance data to drive decision making.
· Manage consumer acquisition campaigns with merchants from concept to execution including deals, $ off and gift card programs, influencer campaigns, paid social media and customized promotions.

EXPERIENCE
Independent and creative with solid communication skills, the successful candidate will have a strong consumer marketing focus and extensive experience in digital marketing. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and be able to think strategically about a quickly growing business while at the same time have the analytical ability and intelligence to dive into the tactical details. The candidate will ideally have experience with a rapidly growing business.

Basic Qualifications:
· 3-6 years consumer marketing experience
· Consumer marketing experience across email, web, social, and display developing and executing marketing campaigns.
· Record of progressive experience and responsibility.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize marketing programs, strong understanding of experimental design, ability to set tests and optimize on own.
· Demonstrated ability to build & execute demand generation and customer engagement programs.

Preferred Qualifications
These are not required, but any one of these will be strongly considered.
· MBA or equivalent degree
· Experience managing onsite, email, social media and influencer campaigns
· Ability to learn in-house analytical tools quickly
· Experience in both acquisition and retention campaign development, or subscription models
