Amazon Robotics is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Commodity Management Analyst to support Commodity Management / Commodity Managers with activities that achieve streamlined supplier communications, on-time-delivery, supplier development, new product introduction, and negotiations. The successful candidate for this position will be self-managing, have a high sense of urgency and driven to achieve a defined service level. This candidate will work collaboratively with Supply Chain and multiple business functions in a team environment and will be responsible for the following:

· Working with Commodity Managers, align Supply Chain commodities and strategy to Amazon Robotics objectives – for sustaining production, new product development & introduction, and research & development activities. Ensures we have the right product, at the right place and on-time with a secured and qualified supply base.
· Support Commodity Management in defining and implementing, in conjunction with the global strategy of the Supply Chain Dept., a commodity strategy, target panel of suppliers and sourcing strategy per technology segment. Lead initial supplier assessment and analysis using tools such as Pre-Assessment surveys.
· Development of reports and tracking mechanisms for information management, analysis and sharing. Including the use of Oracle, Tableau and other database tools.
· Support in the management of relationships with supplier, in coordination with internal stakeholders including Commodity Managers, Buyer/Planner, Commodity Specialists, Technical Operations, Engineering, Deployment Engineering, etc. Spanning New Product Introduction (NPI), sustaining on-going production and end-of-life phase-out.
· Supports and participates in yearly Manufacturing Operation's goals specific to Commodity Management and Supply Chain Management. Those include lead-time reduction, project timelines, product pricing, new product launch, supplier development, and risk mitigation.
· Support Commodity Management team with routine tasks, administration, projects, improvement initiatives and automation plans.
· Assist Commodity Management with maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring and addressing supply issues and developing parts and projects.
· Identify Supply Chain material risks, providing transparent monitoring of materials and escalating supply issues.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelors' degree or relevant experience.
· Purchasing / Procurement or experience in Supply Chain
· Experience working in a manufacturing environment sourcing, purchasing, or managing mechanical products.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong bias for action and customer obsession.
· Highly effective oral and written English communication skills.
