Campus Attraction and Engagement Program Manager EMEA

The Campus Attraction & Engagement Manager will be responsible for supporting the execution of the EMEA Student Programs annual attraction strategy, have responsibility for country coverage owning all attraction related topics, partner with the SP Global Brand team to develop and execute mass advertising campaigns across multiple channels ensuring a cohesive attraction proposition is presented to our customers, students.

You will partner strategically with leaders across the EMEA Student Programs team, employer brand, Internal Communications, business stakeholders, and external vendors to develop attraction campaigns. In this newly created role, you will create and implement the plan for how we attract talent, engage meaningfully with local markets, and support our global student employer brand. You will leverage social media channels, recruitment marketing, and the localisation and adoption of global employer attraction initiatives. In addition, you will partner with external vendors to optimise our marketing and engagement strategies in order to improve the candidate experience and increase candidate pipelines.

This role requires strong events and marketing experience, analytics, reporting, budget planning, and writing experience. We need someone who has a strong bias for action, keeps an eye on the long term, insists on the highest standards, is frugal, wants to learn and is used to delivering results.

Your responsibilities include:
· Supporting the Regional Attraction and Engagement Lead to deliver the annual EMEA Student Programs attraction and engagement strategy, including creating plans, goals and success measures for campus events, and proposing plans for new initiatives to grow our talent pool
· In partnership with recruitment, drive the delivery on application pipeline goals (diversity representation, application volumes and quality) by developing & executing the candidate attraction/engagement in the region
· Physical attraction strategy & campaign management: Implement attraction strategy for physical channels, oversee execution by recruiters/recruitment operations team, ideate & drive events to develop the desired employer brand image
· Event strategy & calendar development: Prepare event calendar and investment plan for the year; & work with recruitment to mobilize resources for event success
· Partnership with the EMEA Brand Manager on the regional digital attraction strategy & campaign management: support with the development of a digital attraction strategy, manage digital presence, generate ideas & drive online campaigns/events to engage and attract potential applicants
· Fund planning & management: Prepare proposals to seek business funding for execution of the engagement plan; develop fund utilisation plan; & work with the regional lead to manage investments
· Talent mapping & pool classification: Identify/classify talent pools for various roles & prepare strategy for talent attraction from these pools
· Research & evaluation: Undertake research on employer attractiveness (EVP evaluation) in existing & new markets & evaluate channel/campaign/event effectiveness
· Strategic partnership development: Develop both internal and external partnerships with institutions and internal affiliate groups to ensure supply of best talent in a niche skills segment; develop strong academia-corporate exchange programs
· Partnering with global teams to understand and then execute on initiatives to attract a more diverse candidate slate and consequently deliver impact across the region
· Provide on-going training to local recruiters/recruiting managers on how to leverage the most effective channels and communicate strategies for the most impactful talent attraction

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5 years + experience managing events and marketing campaigns and strategies with international scope
· Deep understanding of international employment markets and trends with the early careers space
· Experience with event and/or marketing performance metrics and data analysis used to influence business decisions
· Analytical experience producing reporting and data-driven insights
· Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation
· Outstanding copy writing and copy-editing skills with excellent attention to detail
· Experience with a variety of software tools (including HTML, Excel)
· Creative thinker with the ability to test, measure and roll out new events and marketing ideas
· Highly organised and able to prioritise work in order to meet project milestones and deadlines
· Self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit with understanding of how to use data and calculated risk-taking to drive innovative change
· Excellent communication skills, paired with sound business judgement
· Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment
· Track record of writing narratives and successfully presenting to senior business leaders
· Fluency and strong written communication in English, with a strong understanding of English grammar
