Join our international team and become part of new and exciting projects, which will shape the future of Amadeus strategy!

You will be operating in a Corporate Strategy unit, supporting the Executive Committee to define the long-term strategy of Amadeus at Corporate level, with strategy projects focused on main threats and growth opportunities (including innovation) for the company.

The position is located in our French offices in Sophia Antipolis.

Purpose

The purpose of the Corporate Strategy Analyst is to support the Strategy Manager or Senior Strategy Manager, in delivering strategic insights and recommendations for Amadeus Top Management to make key decisions.

Key accountabilities

· Drive and perform strategic analyses on complex strategic topics, working closely with main stakeholders in Amadeus Business Units and Corporate Strategy:
· Support the framing of the problem statement
· Define the scope and deliverables in co-operation with internal client and the Strategy Manager/ Senior Strategy Manager
· Analyze key market for Amadeus (market structure, competitive landscape, trends, best industry practices), leveraging internal and external sources of knowledge
· Perform analyses on Amadeus solution offer: efficiency, profitability, consistency with strategic vision
· Define and assess strategic scenarios to address main threats and opportunities
· Contribute to build strategic vision of Amadeus, in key areas for future growth, digital transformation, innovation…
· Identify and support assessment of main M&A targets when required
· Contribute to preparation of insights and recommendations for appropriate decision groups (BU, ExCom...)
· Support the Strategy Manager/ Senior Strategy Manager with the animation of the project team
· Deliver the proper communication and manage relationship with counterparts in Amadeus Business Units to maximize impact of the study

Education

Master’s Degree from a well-known academic institution (Business and/ or Engineering school), including education on Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy and/ or Consulting.

Relevant work experience

Professional experience in Strategy (Tier 1 Consulting Firm or Corporate Strategy department) will be highly valued.

Specific competencies

· Good understanding of Strategy function in large international companies; high-level knowledge of Travel and IT industries
· Problem solving: ability to understand, structure and solve complex issues
· Communication: ability to interact in an articulate manner with internal counterparts, to collect information, discuss findings and maximize project impact
· Practicality: efficiency and timeliness
· Team player: positive, eager to bring your energy to our multicultural team
· MS Office proficiency
· Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; other languages, notably French or Spanish an advantage
