Social Media Intern for Basketball Clothing Brand

Job description

We’re a clothing brand inspired by basketball. Set-up in 2011 we have enjoyed steady growth over the years and are looking to step up to another gear.

We are looking for a part-time intern to run our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter). You will create amazing basketball related content, whether that is a photo or video and post them up our social media channels. You will also engage with our followers and help promote the brand online.

You will also have the opportunity to attend FREE live British Basketball League games around the country to represent the brand and posting highlights and photos on social media.

The right person must have -
• A love for social media and an interest in sports fashion, (you will be asked to supply evidence of past work and projects)
• Good organisational skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative skills.
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

Desirable (although not essential) -
• Photography & Videography skills
• Technical knowledge of SEO

Duration
3 – 6 months with an opportunity to extend further, references will provided at the end.

This will suit someone studying marketing and has a passion for the game of Basketball whether you follow NBA, BBL, Euro League etc we’d like to hear from you!

Ideally local to us (Redhill, Surrey) as we would invite you to help and be a part of photo-shoots but this is not a necessity.

Please note this is an unpaid internship, however we will reimburse any pre-approved travel.
