Working Student (m/f/d) - Operational Risk Management at AIM SE

Job purpose/role

You will work in the Operational Risk Management team of Allianz Investment Management SE (AIM), supporting diverse operational risk management tasks. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in risk identification, assessment, and reporting, contributing to a resilient risk culture and informed decision making.

The role will also provide you with insight in investment management activities and related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support with execution of Operational Risk Management Activities, e.g. document risk assessment and control assurance activities, participate in testing activities as well as update key information in underlying database. 
• Support the review and mapping of AIM SE services to operational risk activities and metrics.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of operational risk dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Participate in the analysis of risk data and contribute to the preparation of internal reports and presentations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ORM processes and tools.
• Support the coordination of the AIM SE ISAE certification as well as related reporting.

Key requirements / Skills / Experience

• University student (m/f/d) of Finance, Business Administration, Business Informatics, Risk Management, Mathematics  or similar courses. 
• Working hours: 12 - 20 per week (flexible set up).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• High motivation and willingness to learn. 
• Structured, independent, reliable, and precise working style. 
• Good communication skills in English, German is a plus.
