Underwriting Technician

Job description

Provide an effective and efficient service to brokers/ clients, underwriting, claims, credit control/accounting. Main responsibilities include:
- Perform preliminary risk appetite check and client / broker value
- Complete standard quote templates including ensuring completeness of information
- Support in data entry tasks associated with Pricing 
- Review, update & issue binders and prepare files for audit
- Post-bind endorsements, etc.
- Support/Within Thresholds handle Renewal Underwriting tasks (without UW authority levels) and ensure account readiness for the renewal cycles
- Directly interact with brokers/ clients for follow-ups, etc.
- Ensure complete information handovers into ATs and ensure output is aligned to UW/Broker/End insured requirements
- Ensure timely delivery of all tasks as defined in the above scope of activities. 
- Proactive communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. 
- Act as a point of contact for UW and support timely and accurate delivery of Quotes, Policy documentation, Endorsements, etc.
- Support continuous process improvement and automation initiatives within their own area of operations.
