About the Job
The Accounting, Tax & Treasury department handles the worldwide closing, reporting, corporate taxation and treasury activities of the Allianz Technology segment, including governance and coordination of all our branches and subsidiaries.
Within the department, the Central Accounting Processes function manages the key accounting processes in the SAP financial system of Allianz Technology.
The finance / accounting manager (m/f/d) is the responsible and global process owner for central key accounting processes. The position holder reports to the Head of Central Accounting Processes.
What you do
· Global process owner for key accounting processes
· Conduct financial process optimization for standardization and roll-out of global accounting processes to international locations
· Monitor and improve accounting procedures & controls
· Provide support and training to regional accounting officers and their teams on important topics
· Defines KPIs to improve clarity on ownership and results in improved controllership mechanisms
· Assist with and oversee the monthly closing process, review of financial statements under IFRS in close collaboration with different stakeholders
· Contact person for internal and external stakeholder e.g. Allianz Technology business as well as Allianz operating entities
What you bring
· SAP SD and Billing Process is a must
· Proven ability to develop new ideas and solutions, to work successfully in an challenging environment as a team player
· Great management skills, and accountability thus ensuring high standards and sharp accuracy
· Excellent communication skills English language skills
· 3+ years of relevant work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
· University degree in finance, business administration or economics
· Accounting, economic and industry as well as relevant legal and regulatory knowledge, e.g., local GAAP / IFRS
