We have an opportunity for an Underwriting Operations Officer in our Sydney office.
About the role
· Provide processing and policy administration as per underwriting guidelines, underwriting instructions and regulatory requirements
· Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring that the customer needs are met
· Develop collaborative and supportive relationships with internal stakeholders in the Underwriting teams
· Provide basic underwriting of SME policies that align with the product underwriting and growth strategy
About you
· Demonstrates enthusiasm and the ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences
· Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
· Ability to recognise, avert, manage and escalate conflicts to enable effective and timely resolution in accordance with organisational processes
· Pays high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and can quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
