JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling of Incoming (SOE) Business:
Transfer international insurance instructions (IIP) into a local policy wording
Ensure International Insurance Program (IIP)-timelines according to IIP Targets
Incoming-Business - Approach and Compliance
Make sure that formal RI-process is completed on all incoming accounts Cash management for Customer-/Broker-/RI settlements Liaise with Client, Broker & Reinsurers
SOE-Policy Documentation and Administration
Ensure accurate policy documentation issued to broker or directly to client
Issuance of insurance certificates within required timeline.
Chasing outstanding money and arranging settlements to brokers and RI
Accounts Reconciliations
Proactively support timely and accurate booking of policy premiums and credit control / collection processes
Proactively work with other functions (e.g. operations, credit control) to resolve outstanding accounts queries Interface between OPS/Accounting and Underwriting
Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with brokers at peer level
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
General Skills:
IT skills (Office applications): Use general office application tools e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word
Technical Skills:
Policy Management: Robust understanding of policy administration life cycle, including information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, cancellation
Required Experiences:
Proven track record in Underwriting administration with c. 2 years' experience
Basic understanding of LoB products and portfolio
Basic understanding of legal and regulatory framework
Experience working in complex, global matrix organization
Fluent in German / English business skills
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Required Education:
Apprenticeship in Insurance
Progress towards professional insurance qualifcation (e.g. CII)
