The Impact You Will Have 

Based in Stockholm (with flexibility for homeworking) and working in the Financial Lines team for the Benelux/Nordics region, you will actively contribute to dealing with existing clients & look for new opportunities. 

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include: 

· 
Underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet the Financial Lines top and bottom-line plan targets in accordance with the underwriting guidelines, underwriting authority and compliance requirements. The focus will be on Professional Indemnity. 

· 
Build up your files through financial analysis, risk assessment & the global pricing tools. 

· 
Negotiate price, terms & conditions. 

· 
Ensure accurate policy documentation. 

· 
File maintenance.

· 
Proactively support completion of policy administration & credit control processes. 

· 
Ownership of key accounts & clients. 

· 
Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers & clients in partnership with Market Management. 

· 
Participate in the development and execution of regional Underwriting strategy for Financial Lines. 

· 
Participate in cross regional activities. 

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role 

· 
Bachelor’s or master’s degree – preferably in Economics, Law or other appropriate discipline. 

· 
About 3 years’ experience of underwriting experience in Financial Lines/Financial Institutions and/or in the Nordics industry. 

· 
Ideally proficient in Swedish and English. Danish, Norwegian or Finnish is a plus. 

· 
Recognised relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level is a plus. 

· 
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to "sell" an improvised or prepared audience winning story. 

· 
Excellent analytical skills to analyze complex data from multiple sources in details. 

· 
Proficient in MS Office applications and able to utilize AI tools to support day-to-day tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-driven decision-making. 

· 
You embrace agile working and engage in constant learning to adapt to the internal and external customer needs.
