JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Underwriting
Identification and analysis of new technological developments through the lens of insurance and risk. Processing transactions on cyber & technology underwriting; may include quotations, new business issuance, policy changes & renewals
Special Projects
Will collaborate on a proof of concept for a new product offering or research
Will be given other projects that can be completed within the length of the internship
On the Job Learning
Participate in a wide range of learning and development activities focused on immersing the intern into how insurance works and being able to apply a macro understanding of technology and technological developments in the real world by working side by side with underwriting, claims and support team professionals

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor Degree: Pursuing university degree in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Risk Management or related discipline
Minimum GPA of 3.2
Knowledge of basic computer operations including a strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS office applications
Ability to apply field of study learnings to the internship
Knowledge of basic math skills
Basic: A self starter with the ability to work as a team member in a fast paced dynamic environment
Basic: Strong oral and written communication
