The Role

 

We are looking for an energetic, passionate person to join our award-winning marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting out in their career to join an exciting brand with big ambitions.

 

With one of the largest sponsorship portfolios in the country, the role includes working across our full portfolio including the All-Ireland Football Championship, the Allianz Leagues, Allianz Cumann na mBunscol, the Camogie Association, the Olympic Federation of Ireland (OFI), Paralympics Ireland and our Olympic & Paralympic ambassadors. 

 

You will have the chance to work on our Stop the Drop movement, working to increase the levels of participation in sport across Ireland.

 

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

·  Execute sponsorship activation plans that build brand metrics, increase engagement and drive new customer acquisition and customer retention
·  Deliver, execute and integrate sponsorship activation programmes through third parties
·  Measure the return on investment (ROI) of sponsorship programmes and relationships including; campaign media attribution, and quotation / sales conversion / revenue generated and reach.
·  Collaborate with colleagues to ensure clarity and consistency of brand position and value, ensuring consistency of approach across digital and non digital channels
·  Play a central role in the organisation and delivery of any events that Allianz is associated with or represented at i.e.; Key Brand Sponsorships, Trade Shows and Exhibitions
·  Copy writing; social media posts; website content; customer emails etc.
·  Co-ordination of arrangements for media interviews, promotional opportunities and photocalls.
·  You will be able to build excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including sports ambassadors with their agents, local and global marketing teams.
·  You will collaborate with sports ambassadors to create engaging campaigns.
·  You will be required from time to time to attend sporting events at weekends and some evenings in Ireland
·  End to end management of tickets which are an important asset for engagement with key stakeholders including customers and staff

 

 

Required Experience and Qualifications

 

Essential Criteria

·  1-2 years experience in a sponsorship or marketing role
·  Excellent organisation and planning skills
·  Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask across various project at once
·  Ability to communicate effectively in writing and in person
·  Availability outside of normal working hours as and when required
·  Availability to travel when required
·  Interest across multiple sports is essential.

 

 

Desirable Criteria

·  A third level or relevant postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Business
·  Excellent writing skills
·  Prior experience in event planning and coordination, and sign-off processes
·  Experience in managing third party relationships or vendors
·  Full drivers licence
