We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate Senior Manager to lead a team of experts. In this high-volume environment, you will be responsible for Club Marine’s Underwriting, Member Services, Pricing and Product portfolios.
You’ll be responsible for:
· Leading the Underwriting, Member Services, and Product function at Club Marine, including the development of strategic plans in addition to establishing, communicating, and reviewing the services and resources, within accountability, to optimise Club Marine’s risk profile and minimise losses.
· Ensuring Underwriting is completed within technical directions and that premiums charged are in line with pricing requirements
· Effectively managing and monitoring Member Services to achieve target customer outcomes with current product knowledge and engaged teams
· Encouraging team to be innovative, identifying business opportunities, sharing knowledge and ideas, and providing constructive feedback leading to customer and business benefit through customer satisfaction and team development
About you:
· General insurance experience, preferably at an Operations or Senior Leadership level.
· Experience in the boating industry or passion for getting out on the water
· Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships internally and externally with clients, intermediaries, and service providers.
· Understanding of key underwriting risk principles and solid understanding of target market
· Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and empower people to develop individual and team potential.
