About the role
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining risk controls aligned with the Risk Policy Framework and embedding them into technology operational processes.
- Collaborating with local and global risk teams to ensure compliance with Australian regulations and alignment with global standards.
- Leading control assurance activities, including internal and external audits (e.g., ISAE 3402), and managing customer audit requests.
- Identifying, assessing, and tracking technology-related risks locally and globally, ensuring transparency through systems like Archer.
- Acting as a risk culture champion by engaging with 2nd Line Risk Management and contributing to digital resilience initiatives.
About you
- Extensive experience in enterprise risk management across technology operations, including AI technologies (e.g., GenAI, ChatGPT, GenTech), IT, outsourcing, and project risk
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coach teams and collaborate across global, virtual environments
- Strong strategic thinking with a deep understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., COBIT 2019, COSO, ISO 27XXX, ISAE/SOC) and local supplier ecosystems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Proficiency in risk and operations management tools such as Archer, ServiceNow, and ORGS
