JOB PURPOSE/ROLE
Allianz Consulting was established in 2004 as the internal consulting division of the Allianz Group. Our vision is to be the Consulting partner of choice for Allianz Group core segments. Our experienced consulting teams support all Allianz operating entities worldwide in planning and implementing their local key strategic projects.
Our consulting services focus on our clients' needs ranging from strategy, market management, sales and distribution, IT, organization, claims and operations to central functions. We bring deep, industrial and functional expertise to fulfill our client's requirements and support the overall vision of the Allianz Group.

3) Central Functions Consulting

Furthermore, the growth areas such as APAC aims to support all our internal clients on the basis of a local capability building, local pricing structure, and immediate availability. A separate OPEX Academy focuses on the deployment of OPEX in the Allianz Group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a senior Consultant at AZ Consulting you will be assigned to clients to handle some of their toughest problems. This includes gathering information about their market situation, analyzing the consolidated data, formulating hypotheses and ultimately presenting your findings with a recommended course of action. Depending on the need of the project, there will be at times a team of consultants working on the same problem and other times where there will be only one person working closely with the client to resolve the issue. This position gives you significant exposure to a wide variety of insurance related topics both from a strategic perspective working at the principle branch in Munich and also on an operational level while working for global operating entities in different countries. The topics could range from building a presentation for the board of directors to finalizing a questionnaire for surveying a sample market. Ultimately, there is a backbone of support at AZ Consulting with a wide breadth of knowledge and expertise coming from within Allianz or outside that could help you grow in your function and within the company.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Knowledge in data handling as well as understanding of insurance performance steering
Strategic and operational management experience
Experience in change management, quality management, integration and re-organization as well as training and lecturing
Analytical and problem solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
Communication, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
Combination of strategic think and pragmatic acting
Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance
University degree or equivalent experience
Fluent English written and spoken
High attendance to learn and develop
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
Nice to have: Oracle, SQL and SAS
Desired requirements /skills /experience
Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
Operational insurance business and/or consultancy experience for more than 3 years
Insurance business experience and knowledge
Project experience
International work experience (min 6 months)
