Role Description

 

You will lead the strategic direction of the Sales & Service Training function, developing and implementing high-impact training initiatives that drive capability, innovation, and long-term success across Allianz’s personal lines contact centres (Car, Home, Breakdown & Travel).

 

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll shape a forward-thinking training strategy that supports business transformation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring training is positioned as a key enabler of organisational growth and excellence.

 

This is a hybrid role based in either our Leeds or Bournemouth offices, with the expectation to be on-site two days per week.

 

Salary Information

 

Pay: Circa £62,500 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

 

About You

 

  • Leading the strategic direction of the on-shore and off-shore S&S Training Team to support long-term business objectives.
  • Cultivating a high-performance culture that drives innovation, continuous improvement, and team excellence.
  • Executing a structured framework to empower Line Trainers and Buddies in delivering impactful, consistent training.
  • Overseeing the development and upkeep of training content to ensure compliance and alignment with evolving standards.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including senior leaders, to build strategic partnerships that enhance training delivery.
  • Integrating modern training technologies and methodologies that support future capability needs and business priorities.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and value of training initiatives using analytics, feedback, and strategic insight.
  • Championing training as a catalyst for transformation, ensuring it supports broader organisational change and growth.

 

Essential Skills

 

  • Extensive experience in strategic training management, ideally within a contact centre or similar environment.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive innovation in training strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in continuous improvement and strategic evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A track record of developing high-performing teams aligned to organisational goals.
