Job description
The Regional Head of Business Partner- and Product-Configuration is placed within our Operations Steering andTransformation division and is directly reporting to the Head of Business Partner- and Product-Configuration. Therole is responsible for overseeing the configuration and parametrization of IT systems business partners andproducts for each LoB within the region.
The position involves developing and implementing strategies for efficient and accurate business partner- andproduct-configuration, collaborating with various departments of Allianz Partners and ensuring alignment with B-Partner requirements. The Regional Head of Business Partner- and Product-Configuration plays a crucial roleduring tenders, in onboarding new business and afterwards in maintaining product quality, optimizing processesand supporting the organization’s overall business objectives. This position requires a blend of technical expertise,strategic thinking and effective team management.
Primary objectives include next to the configuration and customization of IT systems and products the creation of adeep collective business understanding across all LoBs of Allianz Partners in order to translate this understandingin the most efficient way to ABS (or other core systems), as well as being key interface for sales for tenders andcustomer onboarding. In addition, the understanding of the AS-IS processes and the definition of the most efficient (simplified and harmonized) SHOULD-BE processes including their system implementation and documentation isan integral part of this role.
What you do
· Configuration Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for product- and B-Partner-configuration in alignment with the business objectives of Allianz Partners and B-Partner requirements.
· Technology Integration: Implement and manage configuration tools and systems to support accurate andefficient product and B-Partner customization. This includes all processes necessary to ensure E2E processmanagement in core systems (e.g. beneficiary database, commission setup in line with local regulation, B-Partner characteristics, process specificities and settlement).
· Process Optimization: Oversee the design and optimization of product configuration processes to enhanceefficiency and accuracy.
· Customer Satisfaction: Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction by delivering accurately configured productsand B-Partner and addressing configuration-related issues promptly and effectively.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments and B-Partners of Allianz Partners to alignproduct configuration processes with organizational objectives.
· Customization Guidelines: Establish guidelines and standards for product customization and in consequenceensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
· Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure that configured products meet qualitystandards and specifications of Allianz Partners.
· Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of configurations, specifications and customization requirements.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in business partner- and product-configuration processes through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
· Training and Development: Provide training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of teams involved inproduct configuration.
· Customer Collaboration: Work closely with B-Partners to understand their configuration requirements andprovide solutions that meet their needs.
· Risk Management: Identify and reduce potential risks associated with B-Partner and product configuration byimplementing measures to prevent errors and defects.
· Compliance: Ensure that B-Partner- and product-configurations adhere to industry regulations, standards andcompliance requirements.
· Cost Management: Optimize costs associated with B-Partner- and product-configuration processes whilemaintaining quality and meeting customer expectations.
· Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business partner- andproduct-configuration and provide regular reports to the leadership team of Allianz Partners.
· Process Development: Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of B-Partner- and Product-Configuration processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and operational excellence. On top drive solutions toensure process optimization related to system configuration with impact on core Ops LoB processes.
· Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of operations professionals and foster a culture ofinnovation and excellence that improves AES (Allianz Engagement Survey) scores. Be an ambassador of AzP and role model our values while creating a high-performance culture and teams
