About You

 

As our next Property and Casualty Underwriter, you’ll be:

 

  • Building and maintaining strong broker relationships, negotiating with confidence, and delivering exceptional service
  • Collaborating with your team to deliver timely renewal terms, new business quotes, mid-term adjustments, survey prep, and policy transactions
  • Ensuring accurate documentation is issued to clients
  • Learning from industry-leading Underwriters and expanding your knowledge across the business
  • Bringing energy, initiative, and a growth mindset ready to challenge yourself and support your team

 

 

Essential Skills

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

 

  • Proven experience underwriting Property and/or Casualty risks
  • A strategic approach to risk evaluation and relationship-building with broker clients
  • A passion for personal and professional development
  • Proactive teamwork and a can-do attitude
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Keen attention to detail and analytical thinking

 

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • A CII qualification (or a strong commitment to achieving one) is essential for success in this technical team.
