We are looking for an Project Manager – Global Business Operations based in O’Fallon or Alpharetta.

The Impact You Will Have:
Reporting to the Head of Global Operations, North America, as Project Manager - Global Business Operations, North America, you will be leading key globally or locally-led projects and change initiatives (IT & Non-IT) for Global Business Operations (GBO). This includes ensuring that all projects are delivered smoothly and at pace, within timelines and budget, and appropriate level of stakeholder engagement, and support the execution of the overall GBO as well as North America strategy. This will necessitate strong coordination, stakeholder management across key functions (e.g., within the different GBO teams, onshore and offshore, as well as other functions such as Underwriting) and will require establishing key ownership for projects across different roles. In particular, you will play a lead role in the design, execution and benefit tracking of Rapid Productivity initiatives within Global Business Operations, including task automation and task transfer initiatives, and you will be the voice of GBO within projects led by other areas.

 

In addition to leading key projects, as Project Manager  - Global Business Operations, you will also be responsible for the prioritization of the project portfolio as well as project benefit tracking for any change initiative or projects within the GBO function in North America. You will also be reporting progress to senior stakeholders across Global Business Operations and North America.  You must be able to work independently with limited guidance on very complex areas and situations.

 

Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Independently leading key global and local projects within GBO, supporting implementation of change across GBO, reporting on project progress to senior stakeholders and providing the voice of GBO within other initiatives.
  • Managing projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or advanced analytics solutions, from concept through delivery.
  • Collaborating and coordinating across Teams within GBO, across LoBs, and cross-functional and cross-geographical areas to strengthen project and initiatives management and streamlining.
  • Conducting an assessment of GBO North America's current initiatives pipeline, including implementing changes to strengthen harmonization and facilitate ease of implementation across the organization.
  • Identifying new projects and change initiatives which can support GBO and North America strategy, working to strengthen, streamline and unify solutions to support the overall vision and strategy.
  • Supporting the Global Head of Business Operations, ensuring that North America change initiatives run within GBO North America budget and that change budget is appropriately prioritized according to North America and GBO strategy.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • A minimum of 3 years of Commercial Insurance experience, including an understanding of underwriting/operations processes and technical processes in various insurance areas and functions, as well as understanding challenging IT processes for business support
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects involving Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), or advanced analytics solutions, from concept through delivery.
  • Strong project management and change management experience, including best practices and stakeholder management;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across locations and functions;
  • Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management / Insurance / IT (graduate degree preferred).

The annualized base pay range for this role is $96,000 - $115,000. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
