What you do
Accounting Calculations
- Execute precise computations involving provisions and accruals.
Closing Review
- Verify the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of entries recorded in the accounting systems, providing feedback on any recurring issues detected.
- Conduct a thorough Sanity Check on Suspense Accounts, premiums, service revenue, claims, commissions, payroll, investments, FX, and tax.
- Guarantee Closing Quality Assurance by adhering to standard booking procedures and Accounting Policies.
- Track and report on the progress of the closing process.
- Carry out a post-mortem analysis of the closing review to identify, monitor, and resolve issues, while designing and implementing process improvements.
Regulatory Reporting
- Perform and communicate Regulatory Reporting
- Perform and communicate Specific Reporting
Accounting process automation and enhancement
- Spearhead transformation initiatives in Accounting Processes and Regulatory Reporting as a Subject Matter Expert, encompassing IT system implementations, process standardization, and the onboarding of new business through tenders
