Intern (m/f) in Global Investment Planning at Allianz Investment Management SE, Munich

JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

As an intern with AIM SE, the investment management arm of Allianz Group based in Munich, you will be supporting the global investment planning and controlling team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Global investment planning and controlling (e.g. contributing to investment income planning, performance calculations, data analysis etc.)

Assist in the global investment peer group analysis of Allianz

Work with and further develop a global investment planning tool

Support internal projects concerning the investment planning process

Ad hoc requests (e.g. data analysis, preparation of presentations, capital market research, etc.)

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

Advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics or Mathematics with a strong interest in capital markets, finance or accounting (IFRS).

Very good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word

Experience & Key skills:

Strong analytical and data handling skills; experience in handling and interpreting large data sets is a plus

Attention to detail without getting lost in the big picture

Excellent team player enjoying to work in an international environment; fluency in English required

In depth academic knowledge of and strong interest in capital markets

Excellent academic grades

Prior working experiences through internships would be a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

You must be registered as a student for the entire duration of the internship / working student job.

Job start: February or March 2017

Duration: at least 2 months (full-time), with possible part-time extension as a working student
