Injury Management Consultant | Perth, WA

To support the development of our Injury Management model across Claims, we have identified the opportunity for an Injury Management Consultant. Reporting to the Manager WHS Risk and Injury Management, Western Region, you will use your Allied Health technical experience and strong coaching skills to work closely with the Claims Teams to support early intervention, and strategic claims management for individuals injured in the workplace.

 

You'll be responsible for:

·  Supporting Claims Consultants to provide timely delivery of care and treatment to support recovery and return to life and work outcomes
·  Ensuring return to life and work outcomes, tailored to our customers individual goals are achieved
·  Working with teams, technical specialists and Team Leaders to provide support to claims teams and proactively provide education in the areas of medical and injury management
·  Support cost effective injury management by ensuring treatment and rehabilitation services are aligned to effective claim outcomes and evidenced based best practice

Important to your success:

·  A degree or tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health field e.g. (Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation Counselling/Psychology/Nursing) is essential
·  Demonstrated experience in either personal injury, disability or health industry
·  Experience in CTP, Workers Compensation or Occupational Rehabilitation highly desirable
·  Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision making skills
·  Highly developed skills in coaching, influencing and relationship building
·  A drive for change and continual improvement
