JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in Singapore, you will assist the Team Leader with financial reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Job scope includes:
Preparation of IFRS, Regulatory, Statutory closing and reporting tasks (e.g. annual report, reporting to regulators, head office, local management) related to own area of responsibility on an accurate and timely basis
Account reconciliations on a periodic basis
Reconciliation of data from data warehouse, between interfaces, or between different GAAP ledgers
Timely execution and fulfillment of internal and external reporting requirements
Analysis of financial results by different dimensions (line, class , type) against prior periods and plan
Analysis and preparation of replies to questions from internal and external stakeholders i.e. regulator, tax authorities, auditors, head office
General reporting and analysis for business information needs, strategic reasons or ad-hoc projects
Support and participate in internal control reviews
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3-5 years post qualifying experience
Preferably ACCA or CPA with insurance industry experience
Pro-active and organized, with strong analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good command of both written and spoken English
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively in a cross cultural environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of SAP will be advantageous
