Job description

What you do

Assist during the implementation of the new processes in the Romanian RCC environment.              

Ensure documentation of the processes and controls are complete and enable the team to perform the operations.
Prepare all necessary monthly reconciliations and reports (e.g. suspense accounts, VAT, foreign exchange movements) and ensure that all necessary controls are in place.                                                                   

Run Intercompany Recharges processes and pro-actively make recommendations to improve efficiency.       
Run cost allocation cycle and support Business Units (SAP & nonSAP) on the monthly Cost Allocation process
Handle all controlling master data objects
Maintenance of Cost Centers and Cost Allocation rules maintaining parameters.                                                                                                                                                                           -

Complete monthly accounting for areas such as VAT, pensions, brokerage, expenses, fixed assets, salary bookings and other accruals, upon request.
Provide monthly reports to management and preparation of IFRS/local financial statements, correctly and in terms indicated, upon request.
Complete all monthly IFRS financial reporting requirements to the Group parent company to required deadlines.
Contribute to year-end audit, and other external reporting requirements.
Pro-actively make recommendations to improve and develop the controls within, and output of the financial accounting & reporting team.  
Support Group Intercompanies booking and reconciliations.
Analyse and produce ad-hoc reporting.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Follow-up on the defined KPIs                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Maintain and strengthen strong CPI Team dynamic, pro-actively participate to the Continuous Improvement metodology using Lean aproach.                                                                                                                       

Support other team members to run  proceses/ transitions/ harmonizations processes 

 

What you bring

Educational requirements
* Bachelor degree and/or Masters Degree in the Financial field
Functional knowledge:
 * Fully computer literate, advanced Excel and experience of accounting packages (SAP)
 * Knowledge about IFRS
 * Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
* Good knowledge in English.
Business expertise:
 * Experience of financial reporting in a Group environment and of monthly financial&accounting processes  
 * Extended experience in Financial Controlling, IC flows and/or SAP Master Data 
* Accounting experience of 2-5 years or more.

Interpersonal Skills
* Self-motivated with ability to work accurately and to tight deadlines
* Customer focussed and team player.
* Extended problem solving skills (analysis, decision, comunication, autonomy)
