Job description

Job Summary

  • Responsible for planning and implementation of operational projects, programs and improvement plans that has been assigned by the Head of Business Analyst.
  • Provide consultation, recommendation and implementation on IT/Ops related matters. Supporting the COO in operational functions and activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To conduct business scoping with the business users and to develop the User Requirements for sign off 
  • To review the documented User Requirements with the Business User and to obtain proper signed off by the Business
  • Participate projects in accordance to project management principles and methodologies as business analyst roles
  • Develop/Maintain/Upgrade documentation specifics to Business Analyst 
  • Ensure personal development for self improvement and build positive working relationships within the team

 

Key Requirements

  • Business Analyst skill set – such as able to document the business requirements, analyzed the requirements, etc – min 2 years
  • GI domain knowledge (product development, underwriting, RI, Claims, Finance & regulatory related is added advantage)
  • Experienced to work with IT technical staff (inclusive of vendors) & Business stakeholders 
  • Able to propose solutions or workaround
  • IT technical experience would be an added advantage
  • Preferably with working experience in Digital / Data Analysis projects
  • Ability to leverage AI tools like ChatGPT to improve efficiency
