JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead ESG data collection and process
Support Sustainable & Responsible Investments / Impact portfolio managers in their Process
Contribute to the development of Allianz Global Investor's Sustainable & Responsible Investments and Impact Methodology and policies
Develop a solution that continues delivery at a pace and scale necessary for a sustained and ongoing transformation
Optimize the operational efficiency and simplicity of data analysis converting large raw data input into an easily accessible and interactable format
Comply with the existing IT and data security protocols to ensure a safe, authorized, and controlled access to the solution
Test to find, maintain, and repair any errors found during the development
Clearly document the steps, logic, implementation, and code used in the development
Develop tools for interactive data visualization
Contribute to effective process flows.

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Prior experience of environmental, social and governance research
Ability to analyse databases from different ESG and Impact Data providers and derive conclusions
Good knowledge of end-to-end development process
Work experience in investment data analytics or risk analytics is a plus with development of business intelligence platforms and data visualization (PowerBI or Tableau like)
Excellent knowledge of different programming languages and conversion of applications between them, e.g. VBA to Python
Ability to work in an Agile environment
Strong written and spoken English and preferably some French and German language skills
Good communication and presentation skills, clear and concise articulation of ideas and concepts
Ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with colleagues globally and with external parties
Self-motivation, self-reliance, good organisational skills
Good team player and flexibility are a must.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

CFA or equivalent certification
Prior experience of the investment management industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Bloomberg Usage
Visual Basic, R, Python, SQL Usage
Salesforce.com Usage
Data Management Skills
