About the Job  

Enterprise Architecture is the central architecture authority within Allianz Technology, the IT service provider for the Allianz Group. Our responsibilities include defining guidelines and best practices, enabling strategic initiatives to find compliant and efficient solution architectures, reviewing solution architectures with strategic relevance, and fostering an active global architecture community. 

We're recruiting an experienced and forward-thinking Enterprise Data Architect who can combine his technical thoughts to drive group Data and AI strategy and adoption of a variety of data solutions and data management capabilities based out in Barcelona, Spain. You would be working within the Enterprise Architecture area which is responsible for setting technical strategy for the Group and working closely with business and delivery teams to realize the strategy.

 

What you do

•    Proven background as a Data Architect with an understanding of the principles and practices of that role.
•    Deep understanding of Databases and data modelling and how that can help accelerate the reuse of data and delivery of data consumption use cases. 
•    Ensuring that IT initiatives and projects related to Data across the enterprise and region are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture given the different business needs, priorities, and affordability . 
•    Ensuring that Enterprise Architecture Data initiatives and Group IT Strategy regarding Data are achieved, and milestones are met.
•    Support the Enterprise Architecture Practice Lead in the development of the practice of Data Architecture across Allianz Technology.
 

 

What you bring

·  Sound decision-making skills
·  Reviewing the data models of critical applications with other lead architects.
·  Knowledge of Insurance products, IT services, platforms, and components.
·  Hands-on with ArchiMate modeling technique. 
·  Preferred to have TOGAF or DCM or CDMP certification 
·  Significant experience in one or more of the following categories.
·  Data Warehousing using Data vault methodology
·  Data Mesh/Decentralizing of Data based on domains
·  Knowledge Graph Data Modelling
·  Familiar with designing cloud architecture applications (AWS/Azure).
·  Sound understanding of Machine learning, AI Model deployment, streaming, microservices and APIs.
