The IT Risk Management (ITRM) team at Allianz Services Spain is seeking a Data Engineer & Visualization Specialist to enhance the team’s data capabilities and create meaningful visual insights for decision-making. This role combines data engineering expertise with advanced data visualization skills, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Azure and Power BI. The position involves aggregating and transforming data into an Azure Data Lake and using it to design interactive dashboards that provide valuable insights for risk management and beyond.

 

 

What you do

 

·  Aggregate data from multiple sources into the Azure Data Lake, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all datasets used for reporting and analysis.
·  Perform data validation, transformation and cleansing to ensure readiness for visualization and reporting purposes.
·  Build and maintain dynamic, interactive Power BI dashboards that visualize key metrics and support risk management and business decisions.
·  Work closely with local and global teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored visualization solutions aligned with organizational needs.
·  Enable data-driven decision-making by delivering high-quality data pipelines and visualizations that address IT risk management objectives.
·  Ensure all data handling and reporting comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

 

What you bring

 

·  Background in Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field.
·  Experience implementing data solutions (preferably with Azure Synapse Analytics), or experience deploying solutions on Azure cloud
·  Experience in ETL processes and relational databases.
·  Strong experience in SQL for database management, Python for scripting, and GitHub for version control.
·  Understanding of data architecture concepts and tools, including data warehouses, data lakes, lake houses, and data catalogs.
·  Hands-on experience with Power BI for building dashboards and creating compelling data visualizations
·  Knowledge of IT Risk Management and IT Governance Frameworks is an advantage.
